Job Description: Monte Vista School District is accepting applications for a Middle School 8th Grade Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Desired qualifications and experience include:
• Current Colorado Teaching License (with ELA Endorsement)
• Knowledge of best practices in research-based writing and reading instruction
• Knowledge of blended learning strategies
• Experience teaching students of varying abilities
• Collaborative approach to lesson design and problem solving
• Ability to work well with others
• Self-motivated
• Organized, yet flexible
• Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Restorative Justice and Capturing Kids Hearts

Monte Vista School District operates on a 4-day week (Monday – Thursday) and offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefit package including employee health, dental, vision, HSA match, and life coverage.
