La Veta School District Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM

Work Schedule: 160-Day Calendar Pay Scale: $41,715 – $65,390

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to create a positive learning environment for students in grades K-5. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive instruction in core subjects while nurturing students' social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging lessons in all core subject areas

• Use various teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles

• Monitor and assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress

• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff

• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education

• Valid Colorado state teaching certification for elementary education

• Strong understanding of child development and learning theories

• Experience with differentiated instruction
