Position Summary: To provide support in the absence of a certified teacher. This position is a year-long position where the individual will have an established schedule in the two elementary schools. This individual will be assigned as a substitute for a teacher who does not have a substitute and/or assigned to cover classes and activities as needed during the school day.
Position Responsibilities:
• Report daily to the elementary schools based on the established schedule
• Deliver the substitute lesson plans for the class(es) assigned
• Provide support with district-wide testing, as needed
• Provide support to students in classrooms or in small groups, as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to manage a flexible and changeable schedule throughout the day
• Ability to follow a lesson plan and explain instructions to secondary students
• Ability to communicate effectively
Minimum Qualifications:
• Colorado substitute license and/or teaching license
• Clear background check

Salary & Benefits:
• $33,750.00 - $66,955.00 annual salary paid in 10 monthly installments
