MS/HS History Teacher

Job Description: Akron is a small rural school located about an hour and a half east of Denver. We have roughly 400 students Pre-k through 12th grade all in one building.

Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is a requirement. Hold or be working towards obtaining a Colorado teaching license. Alternative licensure may be available. Successful teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Salary: Per board approved 25/26 schedule, but is pending an increase per board approval for 26/27. Initial placement on the salary schedule is based upon highest degree earned, college credits earned after degree earned, and years of experience.

Benefits: Akron School is a 4 day week, Monday-Thursday. Full time employees are eligible to receive employee covered health insurance, life insurance, tuition allowance, and paid personal time off leave.
